The Bosch GLM 35 is an excellent choice for Architects who don’t visit site very often. It is, for us, one of the Best Laser Measures for Architects.
With a few more features than its small brother the Bosch GLM 20, it’s the perfect choice to get started with if you want a bit more range than the one offered by the GLM 20. Moreover, the extra functions such as area, volume and addition/subtraction modes can be very useful depending on the type of job you do. For example, if you use areas as part of the initial information to provide a very quick estimation of costs, the Bosch GLM 35 will calculate them for you.
You can measure in seconds what would take minutes (and two people) with a tape measure.
With an accuracy of 1/16 inch (1.5 mm), you can’t get any better than that even with the most high-end products.
Its 120 feet (35 m) range makes the Bosch GLM 35 the perfect companion for Architects working on housing renovations or other small to medium size projects (unless you find a very long corridor, in which case you should get rid of it in any case).
The backlit display will come in handy in areas with low or no light.
It is so small that if you have any complaint, it would be that you keep losing it. It is smaller than a smartphone, so it can easily fit in your pocket.
